In 1982, Omega launched a new line of Constellation watches. The first watch from the Constellation series, ‘Manhattan’ Constellation, had an avant-garde design – an integrated bracelet and four well-recognizable ‘claws’ holding the sapphire crystal on top of the polished black bezel. This striking design element was also functional – the claws increased the watch’s water resistance.
The last Omega Constellation watch was launched in 1995 and promoted by Cindy Crawford. From that moment, Omega has regularly chosen top models, sports champions and movie stars as its ambassadors. However, the Omega Constellation family has not had any new members for 14 years. And finally, this year the popular series has been joined by new models. The original 1982 Constellation design is still easily recognizable in the latest members of the Constellation family – they incorporate the famous claws. Still, the watches were re-designed to fulfill the wishes of today’s customer. The bracelets, having recognizable horizontal links, have been re-engineered to increase comfort. All the 2009 Constellation dials, in silver, champagne, white mother-of-pearl, black, and brown, also feature a supernova guilloche pattern that emanates from the Constellation star at the 6 o’clock position. The hands made of plated rhodium or rose or yellow gold are treated with Super-LumiNova. The new Omega Constellation watches are water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet).
The replicas of the older members of the Omega Constellation family are available on our site. Besides costing much less than the real iconic timepieces, these high-quality Omega replica watches are practically undistinguishable from them.
