The preference was given to Brad Pitt because he was older at that moment and this suited better the image that was chosen to present the collection. Now the things have changed. Dicaprio became more mature and more suitable for the role of Tag HEUER ambassador. Also this choice was influenced by the fact that Brad Pitt refused to present the collection to American market, though this was very important for the brand. Leonardo Dicaprio said he was happy to promote the brand in America.

The actor has signed a three year contract. The deal is worth several million dollars. The actor will be endorsing the Tag Heuer Day-Date Carrera.
