Watches of the Year - New Russian Award
Russian Watch Press Award was organized in fall due to the joined efforts of a group of watch enthusiasts.
Russian journalists who have been writing for very different editions - from very glamorous to professional watch editions - agreed upon making new-born Russian Watch Press Award namely journalistic award. That means the award was not any way supported by watch producers or their distributors in Russia.
The award’s organizers decided not to arrange any full-dress functions, award ceremonies and did not even make bright diplomas for the winners to be kept as mementos.
